Using Ashwagandha for sexual power, Moringa tablets for killing worms, Gokshur in urinary diseases or Punarnava herb in swelling!
This symptom and drug approach does not always work.
This leads to disbelief in client's minds that Ayurvedic medicines do not act at all/ act slowly.
There are two main reasons for it-
First main reason is "Not knowing or doing Ayurvedic diagnosis".
Yes there is always a doshic diagnosis made by a Vaidya. He/She with all the history and examination finds out what is your predominant dosha (vikrut dosha), dooshya, what is their direction(gati), sthana(where are they residing in the body).
This diagnosis is Ayurvedic diagnosis which we found in our Texts of Ayurveda ( Samhitas- Charaka samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya Samhita) in elaborate way. Over 8 years of Clinical education we learn to see this Ayurvedic diagnosis in clients in OPD of our hospitals.
The Ayurvedic treatment(panchakarma or internal medicines ) all are based on this clinical Ayurvedic diagnosis.
The second reason why Ayurvedic drugs don't act the way they are popularly know way, is described in my another article "Medicines of Ayurveda- Act according to their set Mathematics !"
