Ayurvedic therapies
These Ayurvedic therapies are offered for complete rejuvenation and to restore overall health and your life force-Prana energy. We do recommend that although they are offered seperately than consultation it is important to see which therapies are suitable for a perticualr individual. Everyone's Prakruti is different & unique in many ways -where person has taken birth, where has he grown up, which foods he/she is used to , all these variations needs to be kept in mind while selecting the therapy in order to avoid its disadvantages.
All the therapies in Ayurveda science fall under these 2 procedural categories-
[I].SHODHAN/PANCHAKARMA [II].SHAMAN/PACIFYING DOSHA
SHODHAN/PANCHAKARMA -has 3 more subdivisions
1. Purvakarma-therapies done prior to main detoxification(Shodhana) procedure ( Snehapana swedan etc.)
2. Pradhankarma-Main detox procedure ( Vaman, virechana, Raktamokshan etc.)
3. Paschatkarma -post detox procedure therapies, special diet(sansarjan krama)

Abhyanga is whole body medium pressure medicated sesame oil massage with gentle strokes with an aim of vata dosha shamana
currently we offer this service to woman only.

It is steaming whole body except head & neck, in an enclosed chamber. the steam is generated from water infused with various herbs like dashamooka, nirgundi kwatah.It helps in vata & kapha shamana as well.

Udvartan is herbal powder massage especially for scrubbing action of meda dhatu & helps in weight reduction. It also smoothens the skin & removes debris without dehydrating it.

Nasya is a very unique therapy offered by ayurveda where herbal oil/ghee drops are inserted in nasal cavity. Other types of nasya as Pratimarsha & Marsha nasya, Pradhaman nasya, are also practiced.

Basti is the most effective therapy offered by Ayurveda science where herbal oil enema ( anuvasan basti/matra basti) , or hebrla decoction enema( Niruha basti) is given through anal orifice with simple rubber catheter. It has wide range of benefits & it is always done under Ayurvedic Vaidya's supervision.

The best practice for cleaning pitta dosha is virechana. In this procedure herbla decoction/oil/purgative supplements are offered which causes controlled purgation. It is to be strictly practiced under supervision of Ayurvedic Vaidya.

Vamana is one of the most profound yet underutilized pillars of Panchakarma therapy. This meticulous seven-day detoxification process culminates in a therapeutic emesis, where expertly formulated herbal decoctions are administered to release deeply embedded toxins. To ensure the highest standards of safety and efficacy, the procedure is conducted under the rigorous supervision of an experienced Ayurvedic Vaidya.

Raktamokshana is an invasive practice which is only practiced by Ayurvedic Vaidya. It is one of the best therapies to reduce pitta dosha & improve Rakta dhatu.
Leech therapy, Viddhakarma, are some of the variations of Raktamokshana therapy and is highly effective.

Snehapana is on of the shamana procedure. It literally means drinking sneha(oil/ghee/vasa/majja).
it has various types depending upon the quantity of ghee/oil, and one's digestive capacity(Agni). But this procedure is highly effective in vata issues and many degenerative nervous system disorders and is hightly underrated. IT is supposed to practiced under guidance of Ayruvedic vaidya as therr are chances of Snehavyapada( bad side effects of Snehapana).

Dhoomapana is very effective procedure to reduce vata & kapha dosha and many obstructive pathologies. Dhomapana is oral and nasal inhalation of medicated dhooma(smoke), and exhalation from mouth. It is administered by Ayurvedic therapist & /Ayurvedic vaidya under the supervision.

Mukhalepa -Herbal face packs as mentioned in Ayurvedic Samhitas are not only for beauty but it is mainly based on dosha predominance & season. Ayurvedic Mukhalepa is a very transformative procedure, if done regularly totally changes face skin, radiance& its texture.

Shiro abhyanga is simple yet very effective technique to improve your scalp health.
It helps to reduce dryness, itching and strengthens the roots of hairs.

Shirodhara is very effective procedure for scalp pain, itchy scalp, headache, and wounds of scalp.

Gandoosh & Kaval- These procedures are related to oral cavity cleansing, effective in dental issues, bad mouth smell, salivation related pathologies. Gandoosh means holding particular oil till getting samyak lakshanas. Whereas Kaval is more like squishing oil(popularly known as oil pulling). There are many effective churnas & oil which are used for these procedure and these are part of Ayurvedic daily routine( Dinacharya).

Shiro pichu putting a scalp pack soaked in medicated oil for certain amount of time. It is highly beneficial in heavy hair fall, greying of hair, certain mental illnesses, and also as preparation of other therapies like sarvanga pindasweda & pizhinchill.

Shirobasti is holding oil overhead and it is done by Ayurvedic Vaidya/trained therapist only. The holding time of oil varies from 30 min to 60 min, monitored. It is very effective in insomnia, mental illnesses, strong migraines, and heavy hair fall.

Shirotalam is application of specific herbs paste over scalp & holding it for certain amount of time. It is beneficial in certain psychological illnesses like unmad & apasmar, vertigo, eye issues, vata disorders.
this procedure is usually an in house procedure, when client is under observation in IPD.

Takradhara is a procedure done with medicated buttermilk pouring over the scalp, & head , done at room temperature. Although it is done at head , it helps in various skin diseases like psoriasis.

Netra basti/ Tarpana is an effective therapy for many eye related disorders. Medicated ghee or oil is held around eyes. Tarpana is very helpful in degenerative eye disorders, refractive errors, and reduces dry eye syndrome, and many other eye related issues.

Hridbasti is holding medicated oil /ghee around heart area. It is useful in strengthening muscles of heart & vata issues related to heart. Ayurveda says Heart is major place of mind as well. Thu this therapy also help in mind related issues.

Udar basti is holding of warm medicated oil around naval area. This helps in strengthening Grahani, increasing Agni, reduce constipation, weakened anterior abdominal wall.

Katibasti is holding warm medicated oil/ghee for certain period of time.
it is extremely helpful in degenerative conditions of spine, & lower back pain & chronic lower limb injuries, spine injuries.

Janu basti is holding warm medicated oil/ghee around knee joint.
It is helpful in degenerative knee joint issues, knee joint stiffness. It is also helpful in healing injuries, & ligament tears.

Yonidhavan is washing the vaginal cavity with medicated herbal decoction. It is to be done under trained Ayurveda therapiest/Ayurvedic vaidya.
Yonidhavan is helpful post partum period, reducing vaginal & cervical infections, white discharge & yonivyapad.

Yonidhoopan is delivering herbal medicated smoke to vaginal area. This procedure needs to be practiced with care.
It is helpful in yonistrav (vaginal discharge), dyspareunia, helps in post partum healing.

Yonipichu is holding of medicated ghee /oil inside vaginal cavity.
It is helpful in pre-conceptional Ayurvedic treatments, primary & secondary female infertility issues, dyspareunia.

Uttarbasti is delivering medicated oil/ghee in vaginal cavity. It done only by Ayurvedic vaidya.
It benefits as periconceptional Ayurvedic treatments, primary infertility issues, vaginal pain, dyspareunia, endometriosis along with Ayurvedic herbal medicines.

Lepa is application of herbal paste (cold or warm), with specific thickness over the affected area.

Pindasweda is application of warm steam therapy through the cooked rice pottali. The rice is cooked in medicated decoction/ milk.
It helps in lot of vata disorder, hemiplegia, sciatic pain.

Pottali sweda is application of warm steam therapy through the herbs in pottali. The pottali /bag is filled with specific herbs and and it is dipped into oil and massage is applied on the area of stiffness, inflammation & pian.
It helps in many vata disorder.
